How Cadence works
A daily coaching session in Slack or Microsoft Teams, graded on reasoning and built from your real calls. Plus a web dashboard that gives managers the full picture. Here’s the whole mechanic.
Five minutes. One real situation. Real thinking.
Every session is a single, concrete scenario drawn from how your team actually sells. The rep reads it, reasons out loud, and Coach responds: pushing on weak logic, recognizing strong logic, and offering one more example when it helps. No multiple choice. No copy-paste answers.
Multi-threading a stalled deal
Your champion went quiet for two weeks. On the next call, the buyer hints a new VP is now involved. How do you re-open the deal without losing your champion?

Session types
Four ways to practice.
Open reasoning
A real situation with no single right answer. The rep talks through their thinking; Coach probes the gaps.
Framework apply
Take a method your team already uses (MEDDIC, discovery, etc.) and apply it to a live-feeling scenario.
Capstone
A graded checkpoint at the end of a track. Pull it together, or get sent back to sharpen a weak spot.
Roleplay
The AI plays the buyer. The rep runs the conversation; Coach scores how it actually went.
It coaches. It doesn’t just score.
When an answer is thin, Coach doesn’t just mark it wrong. It explains what’s missing, asks the rep to try again, and recognizes the moment the reasoning actually lands. A library of good and bad examples sits behind every judgment, and a fact-checking pass runs periodically to keep content honest.

How would you respond when they say a competitor is cheaper?
Sam 11:03 AM
I’d say we’re worth it.
Coach App 11:03 AM
That’s an assertion, not a case. Worth it how, for this buyer? Try again. Anchor it to a cost they already feel.
Sam 11:05 AM
They said onboarding eats two weeks of rep time per hire. Cheaper tool, slower ramp, and that delta dwarfs the license gap.
Coach App 11:05 AM
✅ That’s the move. You reframed price as total cost. Passing.
No friction
It fits the workday, so it actually gets done.
On their schedule
Reps pick when it shows up, pause when they’re slammed, and pick right back up. No streak guilt.
Right in the flow
It’s a Slack or Teams DM. Practice happens between calls, not in a separate app nobody opens.
Always one tap on
Finish a session, roll straight into the next. The friction that kills adoption simply isn’t there.
Everything managers need, in one place.
The Slack and Teams bot is where reps practice. The dashboard is where managers run the program.

Tell us how to improve, right after the session.
Every session ends with a one-tap way to flag a bad scenario, a wrong judgment, or an idea. Feedback and error reports flow straight to the team that maintains your content, so the coaching gets sharper every week.
